The counselor have to focus on the students project and their thesis, instead of trying to make the student write about, what the counselor finds interesting. If the counselor just go of talking and talking and talking about what topics they are keen about...the student can easily feel a bit lost and without direction....Then it's best to find a new counselor. Someone that has the ability to focus on the needs of the student.
